My Mommy, My Sailor is a beautifully written and illustrated story that honors the unique bond between Sailors in the United States Navy, their children, and the sacrifices these families make.

A Heartfelt Tribute to Sailors and Their Families

“Every morning, just as the sun peeks over the horizon and fills my room with light, my Mommy starts her day. She’s not just any Mommy—she’s a Sailor, and she’s my hero.”

Told through the eyes of a child, My Mommy, My Sailor vividly portrays the adventures, pride, and challenges faced by Navy families. The story follows the child of a U.S. Navy Sailor who shares stories of their mom’s life at sea, exciting missions, and the emotions that come with deployment. Through tearful goodbyes, heartfelt letters, and joyful homecomings, this book captures the spirit of resilience, pride, and love that define military families.

With realistic illustrations of Navy ships, uniforms, and daily life aboard, this book brings the Navy experience to life for young readers. It’s a meaningful way to explain deployment, underway periods, and service to children while fostering pride and connection within the family.

A Keepsake for Military Families

This special hardback edition (10” tall x 7.5” wide) includes a space for a photo of your hero and their child, as well as a section for parents to write a personal note. These thoughtful details transform My Mommy, My Sailor from a storybook into a cherished family keepsake that children will treasure for years to come.
